Long Time No Post

Well ladies. Time has been marching on and I have not had a chance to catch up with our blog. All of us are doing so well. Sandi you are helping us so much. I am so thrilled about our walk on Saturday. It means so much to me that all of you are participating with me. I can't believe that starting out I just wanted my possey to walk with me, now I have nineteen people on my team. Praise God. Let's keep up the good work. I love you all.

Happy Tears at the Scale

Hey there. We all had a great week. Congratulations. Today was a very emotional weigh in for me. I had a personal goal that I set for myself and today I reached it. God has been with me every step of the way. I am not sure why I doubted that he would help me get there. When Sandi gave me today's results, instantly tears came to my eyes. I have tried to loose weight so many times before but this time is so different. I look so forward to Saturday mornings. I can't wait to have my time with Sandi at the scale. Today she referred to us as Lisa's possy (sp?). It is so true. We are going through this together. Thank you ladies for all of your support. I can't believe that I am going to do the heart walk. Who would have thought that I would ever be walking three miles? Obviously, GOD did. Ladies, have a great week. Love to you all.

P.S. I bought a really great pair of walking shoes tonight. Boy are they ugly but they are sooooooooooo comfortable. It is time to take care of ME!

American Heart Association - Heart Walk

Hey ladies. I had an idea of course. I was wondering if anyone would like to walk with me on April 4 for the American Heart Association's Heart Walk. After all, isn't this why we are trying to get healthy. It is a three mile walk starting at the Blue Cross Arena and it goes through the historic district of Rochester. We could do it as WWJS Buddies. Also, we could ask any of our family or our new friends from Weight Watchers. Let me know what you think. God is Great!

This entire journey with my WWJS buddies has been incredible. I have grown in relationships with four amazing women. I can't thank all of you enough. While Jesus is helping me be successful this time around, so is my family. Yesterday and today the weather has been perfect. I decided to ask Nicholas if he wanted to walk with me. Much to my surprise, he said yes. Praise God. What 10 year old wants to walk with his mom. Today, Nicholas and I walked all the way to Blockbuster Video to rent some movies. (3 Miles round trip). We had such a good quality talk together. I have been missing that so much. Sometime I forget how Great God is to us.

Tomorrow is our weigh in again. It feels like it is always Saturday. I hope that Sandi's scale is good to us. See less of you tomorrow. LOL.
